Kevla Launches TrustDocS
Dortmund, March 26, 2025 – Whether in certification processes or across value chains, the reliable exchange of compliance documents is becoming a decisive factor for success. With the launch of Kevla TrustDocS, the Berlin-based startup introduces a digital platform for secure and efficient certification management. From now on, companies—whether certifiers, suppliers, or customers—can exchange confidential documents quickly, transparently, and securely via this industry-independent cloud solution.
Kevla TrustDocS helps organizations automate processes, reduce costs, and ensure audit-ready documentation through structured storage and a single source of truth (SSOT). The platform also scales easily with each customer’s business model.
Kevla was founded in 2024 as a joint venture between adesso and Kiwa, with PwC Germany as a passive minority investor.

One Platform for All Industries
Kevla TrustDocS enables companies to manage all confidential and compliance-related documents in one place—from certificates (ISO, HIPAA, or individual guidelines) and attestations (ISAE 3000, BSI C5, SOC2) to third-party materials. Its standardized process chain ensures documents are always handled, verified, and stored correctly—in real time and across sectors.
The solution runs on the ISO 27001- and C5-certified AWS cloud infrastructure in Frankfurt, ensuring top-tier security for even the most sensitive data. Built-in identity verification, rights management, and encrypted data transfer guarantee confidentiality, while APIs enable seamless integration into existing IT systems.
A Strong Foundation
Backed by its joint venture partners, Kevla combines the technical expertise of adesso, a leading IT service provider, with Kiwa’s deep experience in testing, inspection, and certification. PwC Germany supported Kevla as an incubator during its startup phase and continues as a non-influencing minority investor.
