Kiwa Provides Sustainability Certificate We Care via Kevla’s Digital Platform TrustDocS
Berlin, March 26, 2026—Starting immediately, Kiwa, as the sole accredited certification body, is providing the We Care seal through the cross-industry digital platform Kevla TrustDocS. This ensures the integrity and validity of certificates while enabling efficient exchange with other market participants.
The We Care seal is a corporate sustainability standard for food companies, initiated by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) and audited by Kiwa GmbH, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification. Unlike product-based audits, We Care evaluates a company’s entire management approach. Certified companies must demonstrate responsible practices in corporate governance, supply-chain management, environmental management, and employee responsibility. Based on verifiable criteria, they are recognized as operating in a socially responsible, sustainable, and fair manner.
Secure exchange via Kevla TrustDocS guarantees integrity and validity
Certified companies receive their We Care certificate from Kiwa through Kevla TrustDocS. The platform by Berlin-based Kevla ensures the highest level of integrity in document exchange: both certifiers and recipients are pre-verified, and sensitive documents, such as certificates, audit reports, and regulatory evidence relevant to supply-chain management, quality assurance, ESG, and compliance, can be shared securely and efficiently across the industry.
